The Technology: By utilising a blend of materials, the Metal Matrix clubface of each Cobra UFI Iron is lighter than titanium, weighing hardly anything, which goes a long way towards creating a lower, deeper and further back centre of gravity with a higher, easier launch, backed up by a powerful Moment of Inertia for straighter, accurate distance. |
THE SCOOP FROM THE SNOOP ON THE COBRA UFI IRONS :
When Cobra called this 5-SW Irons set their (UFI) Ultimate Forgiveness Irons, they weren’t kidding! Designed to be feather light in weight, every club has been optimise for an extremely low centre of gravity and a high Moment of Inertia in order to get your shots airborne easily, then sailing straight and accurately to your target with outstanding forgiveness. Available in right hand with regular flex YSI graphite shafts, the Cobra UFI Irons 5-SW set is a sure way to lower and improving player’s handicap!

The Technology: The Callaway FT i-brid Irons are a new Fully Integrated Set Design that smoothly transitions from super game-improvement mid and short irons to the new i-brid design - clubs that blend the control and accuracy of traditional irons with the forgiveness, distance and versatility of hybrids. The lightweight titanium body, TPU SenSert and heavy Tunite alloy combine to create the most forgiving and playable clubs we've ever made. |
THE SCOOP FROM THE SNOOP ON THE CALLAWAY FT I-BRID IRONS:
The feel was surprisingly good and at address they looked OK despite extra weight at the back of the head. The longer irons would actually make great hybrid clubs as part of a larger set, so whilst mid or even low handicappers would not be seen dead with these at 7-PW, they would be wise to swallow their pride and have a go at some of the longer irons as they are a joy to hit.

The Technology: Every iron in this Mizuno MX-950 set has been Grain Flow Forged to offer maximum feel and shot control. The hollow technology mid irons utilise a 4135 high strength steel with internal tungsten weighting for distance and trajectory while the short irons make use of a 1025E pure select mild carbon steel for solid feel and distance control. The whole set is seamlessly integrated, flowing perfectly from the longest hybrid right down the pitching wedge. Now there’s quality that’s worth paying a little extra for! |
